Picked this up at a garage sale today for $5. It's a williams 4 5/8. I don't have any use for it as a tool. I'm thinking of something cool to do with it. Maybe have a pinstriper paint my address on on it and put it at the bottom of my driveway. Any ideas?

What would that address be exactly ?

How about hanging over the door to your shop for luck.

You're in Kalifornya ? You put it out front and it'll be stolen and on eBay in a week.
Put a cool paint job on it and hang it in the shop. Make sure the alarm(s) is (are)working well.

If I use it as an address sign I'd weld it to a pipe and concrete it .
Use at least 20 bags........a 4 foot 8 can lift 1000 lbs if it's sellable....... :(
They generally travel three at a time. They save spot #4 for that wrench !..or your TV

That's cool. Looks like something used on an oil rig or something. The sign idea is good. Drill a couple holes in it and hang the sign from it with chain, painted to match of course, then weld a bracket to one end to hang it.

Very funny I remember during one of the New York Garbage strikes one writer put all his garbage in a cardboard box and gift-wrapped it up and placed a bow on top and left it outside his door in the hallway; in no time at all his garbage was gone and his garbage disposal problems were solved.

Saw a 2 5/16" Williams at a flea market a few months ago. They wanted damn near 300 bucks for it. 5 bucks was a steal.

Yeah, then you'll see all that garbage and then some all over your front door the next morning.

I like the idea of painting "Trevers Shop" on it and either hanging it in your shop or mounting it out front. I'll double your money right now and pay shipping! Very cool piece.

I couldn't pull the $5 out of my wallet fast enough. I got it in the truck asap before he could change his mind. I think he just wanted it gone.

Every day you walk through the door without being slammed by a giant wrench is your lucky day?

I'd send it out for chrome and paint the williams logo in. It looks pretty cool, just needs to be shiny.
