Went until last fall without any GearWrenches at all, bought the big set Sears had on Black Friday sale, and love them, but they stop at 3/4 and 19mm.
I work on a lot of farm equipment, and was looking at the bigger ones...up to 11/8" size, but don't really know how useful they would be.
Usually, by the time you get to stuff that size, you have room for other options...at least that's my train of thought.

Still didn't keep me from buying a 15/16 and 11/8 last night.
I've got a problem!

I have a set up to 24mm.... But the largest size i've used is 18mm (car work only)

I think it's definitely one of those instances of what you work on. Considering the
the cost of large sized ratcheting wrenches, unless I would need them often and
they would make my life allot easier (or I just really really wanted them)....I wouldn't bother.

.....and something like the size of 32mm, you're almost always going to be breaking them
loose with something else that has a bit more leaverage anyway.

I have up to 1-1/8. 15/16 & 1-1/8 get used the most but I have used the others as well. Not an everyday item, but very useful to have.

Only time I've needed to use a larger size was re-sealing a worm drive axle in an older Mack truck. One of the bolts on the top front of the axle was in too cramped of a space to get a ratchet in, and would have taken all day with a box end to spin it down. Borrowed my coworker's 15/16 Gearwrench and got it done in no time at all.

I'm not working on big stuff anymore, but still have had some times where larger sizes would've been convenient.

Don't need it, but every time I see the 2" GearWrench at the tool store north of me, I always want to buy it.

I have farm equipment. The 1 1/8 size fits 3/4 inch nuts and bolt, so is used a lot. 15/16 is used a good bit. as is 7/8. 1 3/8 is used for 7/8 nuts and bolts.
I don't remember the metric equivalent to 1 1/4, but I used it enough at one time assembling equipment that I bought a new Wright impact socket inthat size. What size is it that is needed on front wheel drive axle nuts for some Japanese cars? It's included in a 3/4 inch socket set anyway.

oldldh: I think the OP is referring to ratcheting GearWrench stuff - the sets you're showing are normal combos.

Great wrenches (I've got the 81919 set), but no clicky-times.

I have metrics up to 34mm and use them enough to warrent buying them. If you work with large bolts often then go ahead and buy'em you will be glad when one saves you a ton of time. Mine have saved me alot of time in the past.

Thanks guys. I got these at Menards. Only place around that sells them individually, other than Fastenal, at like 3x the price.
Any places to get a good deal?
