The SPG boxes are pretty damn good quality. They're all made in canada and feel damn solid. They put my homak H2pro to shame in quality.
Depends which line of SPG boxes. The one at Costco is their 'Value' series ( recently renamed the 'Tech' series) which is their #3 line. Their top tier is the SHD (Super Heavy Duty) series followed by the 'Professional' series and then the 'Value/Tech' series.
See I wasn't questioning SPG overall, I know they can make good boxes. Just not sure about that particular one. Considering I have a 44" HF now, if I were to upgrade I have considered either more 44's or that Costco box.

I have the 44 with the side drawer cabinet and top chest. Plenty of room for now, next this will either be a new box all together the side locker. but hf wants 300 for that now. HA pass.

this 72" box was at Rural King for $799 over the winter. Not sure when they do their sales/rebates.

That's the box I got for that price. The top was on sale for $399.99, but I passed for now. It's every bit of the HF boxes. My original plan was to buy the 72" HF box when it's more available and hopefully coupons come out because of the wider drawers, and sell the RK box. Now I'm not so sure - I'm really liking this box a lot now that I'm using it more.

Could you make a post about that box please? With dimensions and contents please?

There's no other brand comparable in quality, drawer size/arrangement, availability in most places, and price like the HF 56" for your budget.

If you want a more valuable toolbox, put in couple more $bills and get the 72". They go on sale for $1K; seen deals quite frequent lately.

It's not always the size of your box... but how many boxes you have. I'm sure all of you have gone thru the stage when you have so many small boxes, you spring for a great big one to organize everything.

I'm stuck with my 3 Craftsman towers with 2 intermediates. But I have my first HF red 5drawer cart now... (it is still being modified, taking lots o pics to post).

Someday... i will spring for a 56 with 2 sides... it's my dream.
