Billings and spencer ratchet set #53

I came across this set and I am unable to find out what is missing. I do know there was a speed handle but thats it and Alloy Artifacts only has an image of a #52 set. I have the lid to the box but its being repaired. If anyone has any information it would be appreciated. Also anyone know whats its worth might be.

Can't offer any help on what's missing, nor have I ever seen one, but thanks for posting it up for the rest of us to see. That's a very cool set and I'm sure you're right about it being rare.

Is that set rare not hardly, B&S made tools by the boat load but asking for information today in the computer age we don't have all the answers yet from so long ago; Give it some more time as we discover more old catalogs from which to copy on the net.

Sure you don't come across those nice sets every day after all they were ment for the very first cars and those tools may not have survived from so long ago , only time will tell how many of those old sets are still around.
