I guess I collect these Billings & Spencer lineman's hand vises. Had 2, bought a 3rd on eBay without looking closely.
Well, it's a Billings & Edmands, not a Billings & Spencer. I'm finding a blurb about this company being founded in 1884 by Charles Billings and George Edmands in Rocky Hill, CT. It does not look like the endeavor was long lived, I couldn't find much on the company or what they made (besides hand vises).
i searched here and did not see anything about them, or in the Billings & Spencer thread.
