Alloy artifacts has a lot of information on Billings and Spencer. I like their old wrenches. One of the only tools I collect.

It's hard to tell, because they made that screwdriver - Model P, in three different lengths - from their inception right up through 1949, at least. They also made a heavy duty machinists' version. Forged from carbon steel, that fluted handle was designed to be turned with a wrench when necessary.
