Binge buying, do I keep these Dealt 20V tools?

Almost two years ago, I went total Ryobi 18V. There were unique tools that I wanted and the prices on sale were too good to pass up. I haven't regretted it at all. I've always wanted to step up to Milwaukee or Dewalt, but just couldn't justify the cost for DIY purposes. I could buy Ryobi tools for what the Dewalt batteries cost. I have B&W Firestorms that I just can't kill and their batteries will sit for a year and still juice up a hedge trimmer, but I digress.

For several days, I ignored the Dewalt sale isle at Lowes, but today I took the bait. I grabbed the brushless 20V Impact Driver and the 20V Drill. Ironically, the set was a worse deal than being them separately. The set is $179 and you get 2 batteries and 1 charger. Separately, they are $99, so for $200 you get 2 batteries and 2 chargers - all batteries the same 2AH.

Lowes was smart to have the drills charged and on display. I think the drill battery was wearing down, but still the feel of both tools was nice. I like the smaller profile, smoother trigger, etc. I don't see me jumping into the entire Dewalt family, but these were nice. I guess they're on sale because of the atomic versions? Was there some other reason these aren't desirable?

Also, has anyone used the 4 or 5AH in these tools? Seems to me it would throw the balance off a bit.
