Binks badged Quincy pump towers

I'm trying to learn more about the unusual towers that I have seen examples of on Binks badged Quincy built compressors (models 325 and 230). Based on their plumbing, I would think that these have to provide a similar function to the mushroom topped unloader towers that are typical on Quincy compressors from this same period up to the present.

If anybody has seen these or knows how they work- better or worse- than the more common unloader towers, please let me know.

Thanks,

Andy

I found out from Art on OWWM that these unusual unloaders were not just used on Binks branded Quincy pumps, but that they were standard issue for Quincy model 325 pumps ROC 9 & ROC 10 from 1961-1965 and on model 230 pumps from ROC 27- ROC 29 covering the same time periods. They also offered a manual unloader tha looked somewhat similar to thee for the same period up to about 1984, but I have never seen one of those.
