I bought a Binks Lo-Boy air compressor yesterday. Turns out the pump was seized. Its torn it down and I think I could use a new connecting rod and wrist pin for one cylinder and rings for both since it’s apart. It is a Binks 33-522 on the pump nameplate. Does that cross reference to a Quincy or other maker? Any help finding the parts would be appreciated

I don’t know why my photos don’t show up. I’ll try again.

I looked at the pump plate again and it looks like this might be a Quincy 214-1.

Thanks for the tip! I got the photos to work for everyone now I think. This little tank has about the biggest motor and pump I can imagine stuck on top. Once I get it running right I would like to see about installing the electric pressure switch so it won’t run constantly.

How is the project going? I have a similar Binks, with a gasoline engine (it's 7 horse, so it's a little large). I'm trying to understand the hydraulic unloader . . . I think the ball bearing is missing in the valve.

Hi! It is back running with a careful tear down and cleaning up the crank. It looks like it was run out of oil and seized up but it’s running well now. The power switch just stopped working so I need to find a toggle to replace it with that’s rated for the 24 amps at 120 volts.

I did find a parts source but didn’t end up ordering any this time since we got it running without them.

Thanks for the update. I bought the kit, but don't have torque specs. I will guess I will need to guess...
