Birthday gift reminder for the MRS

So then, my darling bride has a heck of a time remembering how young she is.
With her birthday coming up soon, I thought I would lend her a hand by making some numbers to hang on a tree, so she can look out the window and see any time she wonders.
They are about 30" tall, made from some SS knife gate parts salvaged from a job years ago.

I'm betting that she will be smiling when she clobbers me!!!!

I snuck out this morning and hung the 58 on the shed that she can see from the kitchen window.
It took a couple hours for her to notice it.
She got a big kick out of it.
We'll have fun with this for years to come.

For my wife’s 50th birthday I was looking for stuff online made on, or close to her birthday. One of the things I found was a blue ribbon plaque for that year’s prize winning pig! It was from France, so it had the charm of being written in French, not immediately recognizable. Turns out it was one of her favorite gifts that year. Good thing we both have the same sense of humor.

It's so nice to be married to a woman that is easy to get gifts for. Some years back I gave my wife a Kawasaki Mule. She uses it near every day. A lot of years ago I bought here a a truck load of manure for her birthday.

Her little sister called to wish her a HB and I answered the phone. She asked what I got her for her BD. I said" A truckload of ****." . She said "No really what did you get her?" I repeated myself again. When she got my wife on the phone she asked her and the wife confirmed what I gave her and that it was the best gift. My wife loves to garden and do flowers, it was the perfect gift.

You just gotta know your woman guys.

I also predict that after seeing the whole number set on the side of the building that the 58 will soon be 48 or 39... and the game is on.
