I am loving my green hard handle ratcheting screwdriver I got when it was on special. But I have realized I need more bits. The ones it came with are still in great shape, but I feel this is such a good tool I should get more bits such as torx and others to allow me to use it more.

What does everyone use for bit sets with their ratcheting screwdrivers?

pb-swiss, apex/snapon/zephyr, or similar.

For the main ones you use a lot get ones that fit really well

it helps alot. For everything else, try to get stuff cheaper but doesn't ****.

I was looking at that board the other day. How hard is it to pull the bits out of that board, can you still easily pull 1" long bits out with your fingers? Do they hold power drive bits or longer bits firmly as well without them leaning down or being really loose?

.

The board holds them very securely, they are hard to take out if you press them in hard. I just put them in snug, and they come off easy. I wouldn't use this board unless you have it firmly attached to the wall or bench top or toolbox drawer. Loose, it's real hard to get them out. Attached, it works great.

Even longer bits are held securely, without drooping.

I really like the felo bits, you can get them on amazon or from Chads, the fit on them is always excellent for me and they cost .75 or so each. If you are willing to pay a couple bucks for a bit the diamond coated ones are beasts

In many respects the quality of the bits is more important than the quality of the tool!

The best, probably PB Swiss. I really don't think there is anything better!

Close second, and a better choice if you need a full range of inch sized bits, Zephyr!

Zephyr certainly used to make Snap On bits but I'm not sure if they do now!
