Got a weird email from snap on UK ,details of a order that was completed and shipped months ago ,oddly with new dates on it for June , thought it was just spam ,ignored all the links on that email and went to snap on UK direct.

Logged on and there it is , a new order for the same parts ??
Checked the shipping details too , shown it was delivered and signed for
1 July 2014

I'll be contacting them first thing Monday , but it's very odd ,
I guess their software has gone batshit crazy .

Or somebody screwed up and charged it to the wrong account, possibly somebody that has the same name as you.

Either snap on has some issues or they just invented time travel.

I emailed them about warrantying a broken deadblow hammer. They quickly sent out a replacement.

A week later another larger deadblow showed up at my door. I called and they had no clue but said it was some kind of shipping error. They let me keep the extra hammer though! Maybe you will get lucky and they will double ship your order and let you keep it!

X2. Legally, if you receive something in the mail you did not order, it's yours & you cannot be charged for it. IDK how it works in th UK...

I always heard that too. But I bet if they accidently shipped you a million dollars in gold you would not be keeping it :) :)

It is not that simple, something shipped in error does not belong to you, and they can ask for it back. Generally they'd have to pay return shipping too, which is why they usually say "keep it" and move on.
