Black and Decker Lectro-saw

Coworker of mine brought in this saw and said he was going to throw it out.
The cord is in great shape, and everything appears correct and not damaged. What can you guys tell me about it?

There is a 6" model on ebay for 100 bucks.
But he has the metal case, instructions and blades. It is from the 50s. There are several
Youtube videos featuring the saw. Watch them. I didn't but it should answer your questions. If It runs, and you plan to use it I would replace the cord with a 3 wire grounding cord. Today 2 wire tools are double insulated ( the guts are in a plastic box inside the case). That metal shell should be grounded, especially in such an old tool. I made the change on an old B&D metal case, 1/4"drill of about the same vintage.

I got in touch with one of my friends mom's who works at Black and Decker in Towson, MD. They accepted it as a donation and are going to put it on display in their main office in Towson. She said it is in better condition that any that they have on display currently.
