Just wanted to post a quick thread about my RaceDeck experience.

I decided to go with RaceDeck during my SF Giants garage remodel after doing tons of reading and research here. I was incredibly impressed with the look of the product and the reviews I saw posted here.

The ordering process was incredibly easy. I designed my floor online through the custom design program provided. I had a great time choosing where to place my black and orange tiles to really compliment the rest of the room. I clicked the submit button and waited for my quote.

Within two days I got an e-mail back with a very reasonable price and decided Racedeck was absolutely the best option for me based on my design and what I'll be using the garage for.

The ordering process was one of the easiest and most pleasant experiences I've ever had with a company. I dealt with both Melanie and Janene. Melanie provided my initial quote and directed me to Janene. They were both incredibly friendly and helpful. I spoke to Janene several times and each time she was cheerful and seemed genuinely happy to be helping me out.

Delivery was fast and my eleven 44 pound boxes were a little intimidating at first. Can't imagine the fear some of you must feel with much larger spaces! Due to some unfortunate health issues my installation was delayed for several weeks.

My brother and dad volunteered to come over and help me out this morning. We got to work and within two and a half hours and several small design changes and mistakes we had the floor almost complete. I've still got to borrow a saw and get a few pieces cut as well as figure out how to attach my trim pieces after I somehow managed to get the wrong side of the tiles facing out. OOPS!

Overall I am highly pleased with RaceDeck and love my new floor! My dad and brother were amazed at the product and Dad is getting ready to do both the three car garage at his house and his warehouse in RaceDeck. My whole neighborhood has also come by to inspect it and I'm all of a sudden the coolest kid on the block. We'll also be passing on our experience to anybody who will listen and hopefully bring several others over to the RaceDeck family.

Thank you to everybody at RaceDeck for such a great product and for such a wonderful customer experience! I couldn't be happier.

I'll be posting pictures of the garage as soon as I think of a witty name and get my photos uploaded.

Congrats! Looking forward to the pics.

My plan includes edging in the front (doorways) and in the back of the garage as I am planning to keep the far inside tool/work area epoxy only. I will go wall-to-wall on the sides so I was wondering about whether or not the edging was universal or whether it was different depending on which side of the tile it is connected to. :dunno:

The edging is available with either the hooks or the sockets, so that's not a problem. Unless as the OP did and start the wrong way and then go to attach the edging.

First off thanks for posting.

I have a couple of questions:

1. Do you live in the San Francisco Bay area?

2. Have you finished?

3. Can you please post pics of what yours looks like now.

Thanks,
