Seven or 8 years ago I spotted a B&D 18v 2-speed cordless drill on the endcap at Lowe's for $20 and I snagged it. It included one battery and a charger built into a cheap AM/FM radio. I'm not sure what the regular price on it was.
I've bought several new batteries and a new charger for it. The 18v batteries are $39 a pop.
Walmart has the single-speed version of the drill with two battery packs for $49.95 right now, including a cheap charger and nylon zip-up case. I'd have paid that much for a two-pack of the battery packs, but now I've got a spare drill. Not pro-grade stuff by any means, but good for around-the-house use.
