Hello Everyone,

I don't usually have to much to say in the forums but lurk almost daily.
I thought I'd share today though...

I've recently put down some Epoxy-Coat and thought I'd share the results.

I live in Calgary, Alberta and have a new house less than a year old.

I've been busy trying to finish my garage to comfortable level to park in and to work in.

Ever since I saw E46M3's garage I've loved the black epoxy look.

I had epoxy in my previous garage (Rustoleum Professional) which to be honest I was quite happy with. But decided on Epoxy-Coat since I believe it will be a longer lasting product, plus had the choice of color I was looking for.

I was initially worried about putting the epoxy down as the temperature was around 10 degrees (Celsius) and dropping in the evenings. But after some research I decided it would probably be ok and actually give me a longer working time. It was quite easy to apply and a nice product to work with. I did have a few buddy's help with the base coat though.
I can't speak for the durability as of yet since the epoxy has only been down for 2 weeks, but it sure looks nice.

I'm interested to hear what you all think.

Cheers!

Kev

It has a great look to it, just don't drop a drywall screw on there...you'll never find it!

What do you plan to do with the block stem wall? If you have any epoxy left I would slap a couple of coats on there too. Or do an accent color?

I plan on cladding it in probably plywood and painting it black.
Its pretty rough so I didn't want to use the epoxy as is.

When I read the title I was afraid of what I was going to see but I really like it. I may have to look into something similar when I do my garage. Nice work.
