Sears Black Friday ad is out and available here. Tools start on page 7. There's a few decent deals to be had the day after Thanksgiving, but not good enough to get me out of the house.

Edit, Full pdf of ad here.

The pdf doesn't work for me for some reason - probably b/c I don't have a bfads login.

The ad looks decent - some unprecedented deals, many recurring deals, some higher than normal sale prices "deals."

Judging by the amount of "Sale" e-mail info I get from SEARS every day, the Black Friday ad is really nothing special. I'm hoping to see the 145pc tool set on sale again; for a Christmas present.

That chest doesnt actually exist on their site right now. And it says "new" in the ad........I wonder how its different than the current one (stainless version of the 449.99 last week deal)

I was hoping for more gearwrench sales
This flyer only covers two days; there are a few weeks in early-mid November and December when other deals will be available. Plus, last year there were quite a few good January deals as all the stores had to make up for poorer than expected holiday sales.

The top has full width drawers. All the others I've seen have the divided drawers.

I don't know about anyone else, but I'm anxiously waiting to see if they put out the famous $5 off coupons again.

I wonder if this is why they had such a big sale on the black version, maybe they are going to replace all of the colors of that black one with the new style shown in this flier.

I guess Ill keep looking for sales on the black one again, maybe I can redeem myself for my stupidity of not buying one. I was hoping to see it on BF, but so far no go.

Me too!! Last year's coupon is still on the website though; maybe it'll be updated with a 2008-2009 version soon!

Sears' tool box sales follow a trend, where they'll put on sale the same handful of products over and over and over again. I guess that they order certain styles and colors in large quantities to minimize cost, and then focus on the sale of those styles and colors.

Hmm, maybe Ill see a good sale on that box again after all!!

Honestly, I like the version with the full width top drawer a little better, its on sale right now but not nearly as nice as 449 (or 424 if you ordered the week before last)

That would be ABSOLUTELY crazy if they did that again. I think I caught the tail end of that coupon, so if they do it again, I'll be much better prepared.

I STILL didn't use most of the goods I purchased! Good thing drill bits don't go bad! I barely used the drill press and miter saw either, so I guess it's okay.

Just remember sears has a 30 day price guarantee; if anything goes on sale within 30 days of your receipt, sears will credit you back the difference!

Billymade, How does the price guarantee work with website purchases? For example if I went on the website right now and purchased a socket set for $30.00 and next week an ad comes out that has that same item number in it on sale for $20.00 can I still get the difference credited back? If it can be done do you know if the stores can take care of it or do you have to email sears.com?

Honestly, I haven't dealt with the online price adjustments; we do it on "in store" purchases all the time, you might want to call customer relations and see what the process is... sorry, I don't have a definite answer on that, here's some contact info:

Some of the stuff looks good.

Do you guys think the 204 pc tool set for $99 is worthy of purchase? There's a good number of sockets, screwdrivers, and junk ratchets in that box, and $99 makes it cheaper than China Freight.
