Looking to pick one up for home use here and there, who's got the best deal going on one? Needs to be 110volt and may be used for small painting projects and some body work so prob a larger tank size. Prefer to spend under $500

if your gonna spray paint and do body work i think i would step it up to a 220V its just two 110 lines its easy to hook up and at least a 17.3 CFM or bigger with cast iron sleeves in the cylinders or i think your gonna have a short lifed compressor

The only reason I'm trying to stick with 110 is because the house I'm in right now is a rental, I do paint and body work for a living so I know how much air I would really be going thru but I won't be doing a ton of work at home

Do you have a dedicated circuit for the compressor? A 120v compressor is going to be fairly small. My 3hp 240v comp Would need a dedicated 30a circuit at 120v so you are going to be most likely limited to 2hp on a 20a circuit.
