I bit on Tekton's emails when cleaning out my inbox. They have a nice 1/4" set with ratchet, spinner handle, extensions, etc. Space in the case to stick screwdriver bits. Good enough to leave in the away bag for salvage yard missions. Organization in a case is nice to have on checkout when they check your tool bag for stowaways.... :)

4 boxes of gloves from harbor freight since they were 9.99 each for Black Friday, other than that just some stuff I found at the flea market and 1 estate sale.
Missed seeing the gloves at Harbor Freight. Needed a couple boxes to get the inventory up. Wife uses a lot cleaning the house. Somehow missed the gloves in the ad.

They had the Hulu for $.99 a month.
I thought I bought it, but my card didn't go through I guess.

Acme had the Dewalt DW735X planer kit with stand on sale for $600 (and free shipping). I've been waiting for the right deal to pop on on this for a few months now and was happy to get one ordered before they sold out. Should be here today or tomorrow.

I had not planned on getting anything. However, our scout troop was gifted a new troop trailer which is much larger than the old one, and dual axle. As Quartermaster I discussed with our committee and picked up a Trailer Valet XL for it. Costco no longer had the good deal package they used to sell, but Home Depot had a decent price. Had a 0% financing coupon for big purchases there too, so I picked up the Husky impact socket set that was marked down to $40, and some Lisle automotive specialty tools I have been looking at (harmonic balancer puller for Chrysler hemi, trim panel pliers, windshield washer arm puller and a coil on plug spark tester).

Mine came in today. Still mad about the label on the box though man my OCD is raging over that lol. I can’t wait to use this thing. They had the non fuel version as well but for a professional I feel Fuel is the way to go. I know it will hold up great. I already had a cordless ratchet but it’s an Earthquake and while it does just fine this will be able to build up my Milwaukee collection plus it’s a bit powerful and that’s one less chargers I have to worry about too.

Try spraying some WD-40 on the labels some times you can remove them without damaging the box.

No "black Friday" / "black week" / "black'vember" / "black month" or "cyber Monday", (...) purchases for me. First, I don't need anything at the moment anyway and second I didn't come across a single "sale"/product/"offer" that was interesting enough to even consider. I did browse through the offers that filled my inbox, though.

Kind regards,
Oliver

Is "Black Friday" a thing in Europe?

It's gaining a lot of traction since a couple of years, for Germany 2013 was the "starting point", IIRC.

But here it's entirely driven by commerce, it has no historic relevance/meaning. Just like they are starting to adopt the Chinese "Single's Day" (11.11.) - which gained a note-able foothold as of 2020 here in Germany.

Kind regards,
Oliver

I took a little walk over to a different color tool set...My Ridgid 18V sytem has served me well for over 15 years and I wanted some things they didn't make, I can make do with 12V if my ridgids fail..so I got some red to go with the orange..lol

So I got an M12 ratchet and a right angle drill with a 6.0AH battery on sale and a starter battery kit with a charger, 6.0 and 4.0 on sale too.

If any of my Ridgids give up the ghost now, I will look for M12 bare tools to upgrade, my needs are less with age now and the M12 system should be enough power for any future happy homeowner projects if the Ridgids fail.
