Getting up at 7:24 to pee, $0.0
Wife getting up at 7:45 to pee, $0.0
Having adult relations before our 4-year old wakes up, PRICELESS

When you are flat broke and unemployed, black Friday is just a concept.

I hit Sears at 0330 this morning, stood out in the sub-freezing temps for half an hour, only to find out the Craftsman ratcheting wrench sets that I was planning on buying were made in china. I didn't buy them. I shoulda stayed in bed...

I have a home depot just up the road from me - got there at 5am and snagged 2 of the ridgid shopvacs. their price (25.88) was actually a little lower than what is in the black friday ad (28.88).

We drove by Wllmart last night, a little after midnight, and EVERY single parking spot was being used. What in the world are people shopping for at Walmart? I'm sure they only have 2-3 of every Black Friday item in stock. Anyway, it was just amazing to see it that packed.

I was at Sears 45 min before it opened. Picked up those Bosch drill bits. It really wasn't a bargin as I could have bought them individually for the same price but it has a nice case...

My sister much to my suprise got a bionic wrench and saw horse that were both Made in USA. :)

went to town to get my brother some medicine (just had tonsils out), got me a finger splint....hurt myself when working on a car yesterday, and stopped by true value, didint really find anything, they have the 10 piece gearwrench ratcheting wrenches for 39.99 normally. Since i got a metric set for home and the school shop, and a sae set at home also, i picked up another sae set for 19.99. not a bad price.

Went to Menards this morning at 730. Holy ****, the lines were hella long. The wife got into line right away while my Bro and I ran around getting stuff. Took an hour to get in and out of the store.

Home Depot was dead as well as Lowes.

Cabela's was crazy so we left. I bought the stuff off of their website for the same store pricing!

Northern Tool was busy but I got everything I wanted, plus some.

Yep I got one of those, almost bought two, but glad I didn't. I realized after I bought it, you can't use a bag in it. It is worth $28 bucks, but not worth the retail price of $99.00

Since I haven't had a cordless tool in years (the batteries always seem to go bad and cost more than the tool) I decided it was time for a cordless drill, now that Lithium Ion batteries are out.

Went to Home Depot about 1 PM, and it was only slightly more crowded than usual, got the combination of drill and impact with the flashlight and soft case (which I have no use for) all for $199 and left. We'll see how these hold up. Did get good use out of the flashlight this evening, and also noticed the charger is a "universal" Makita charger that does 7 to 18 volt batteries, both NiMH and Lithium Ion. It is a 15 minute fast charger also.

Slept til noon, went to RoundTable Pizza buffet lunch, stopped at HF on the way home, crawling with people buying in many cases presents. Lots of carts with ALL of the sale $20 tool items, guy in front of me had 3 of the multitools.

All of the multitool attachments had RED sale tags, and fine print that said "at our everyday low prices".

$20 Multitool
$20 IR thermometer (already wondering how I lived with the two cheaper ones).
$5.50 1 lb orange deadblow completing my set ($6.99 -%20).
$5 fin straightener tool for radiators etc.
$5 wall wart 12v automobile battery float charger
$0 free flashlight

BSing with other shoppers including helping out two nice looking ladies, not bad either.

Wife picked me up a 20 Volt Craftsman Li-Ion Craftsman drill. was on sale for 99.00 and she used 40 dollars in rewards and a 5 dollar late pick-up ticket. She end up out the door 59 dollars and change. Drill has nice torque.

Showed up at Menards 45 minutes before it opened, and was probably 50 or 60th in a line of probably 90ish. They handed out maps of where everything was going to be probably 20 minutes before opening. I ran in got the $20 bench grinder, two $10 99 piece socket sets to throw in the vehicles, and a set of precision pliers for $3. I was in and out in 15 minutes.

I stopped by my local Sports Authority at opening. They were giving out game tickets to the first 85 people that were worth $10 to $500. I got a $100 ticket that I used on their doorbuster telescope. I only went in for a $12 soccer ball. It was hard to find anything else I would want for $100 at the store as I already have everything I need.

HF red cart for 159.99 + a 3lb dead blow + a 24oz ball pien hammer for the guy at the shop who uses a friggin claw hammer on brake rotors. And a flat file.

Put the cart together and took it to work. Had 3 customers ask where I got it and 2 co-workers too. Perfect set up for my bay at the quick lube. Lol

I'm no longer a "Black Friday" virgin, I found myself at the Farm Store at 5:45am buying 9 pairs of jeans, and an assortment of tools and straps I don't need. On the way to Lowe's, went buy a super Menard's, and the entire parking lot was full, including the street, we are talking several hundred cars, not sure what they where selling.

Got to Lowe's and bought a new set of Bosch Lithium tools, Impactor and Drill. Lowe's was dead. Dropped about $700, none of it on Christmas gifts !
