Black Garage Flooring/Epoxy, Examples?

I'm considering this... no worries on my garage being dark. ;) I'm thinking of a couple things.

1. black floor would help hide any grease/oil messes/stains

2. when cleaned for parties, etc, would look sharp!!

Plenty of light, and bright walls to contrast it..

Any garage guys here try or have pictures of their garages in black? I've "googled' for images, but thought I'd hit up the real garage guys.

Thanks in advance!

I have installed a couple floors that were mostly black... they were great looking however you can see every little spec of dirt it didnt hide anything. Kind of like a black car gets dirty very quickly.

I dont have any high quality pictures though

I appreciate it, I understand the keeping it clean (plenty of black cars through the years) but I will keep up with this garage easier. ;)

Anyone with pics or links I'd appreciate it.

Black is really tough, wheter it be paint, vinyl tiles or even our modular tiles. You will absolutely see every scratch & blemish. If you go with paint, the challange will be in the floor prep as every bump and crack will stand out.
We have found that our Graphite ( nearly black but with pearlesant, giving it a metallic look) gives a similar look without all of the drawbacks.
If you are stuck on painting, then I would recomend maybe staining the floor giving it a washed look...this will break up any imperfections
Good Luck

If a 2 part urathane is scratched that easy, I'd consider buffing it now and then. ;)

Racedeck I had considered, but the price/sq ft for my garage (1800sq ft) seems like a high priced alternative. I have a race car, and see many of the high dollar race teams with it, good/great product, but doesn't make it budget friendly at full retail price for my application.

Very Nice Garage Layout & Space!
Depending if you are doing the entire process yourself ( from prep, multi stage to finish) then you may come in the cost below RaceDeck.

For the average home owner & garage enthusiast, they do not have the skill set and time required to do a proper coating on their garage floor and would require to have a reputable professional do it for them - the cost then would far exceed RaceDeck ( though in this forum there may be more than the average who are able) . Also, with RaceDeck you have to take into account that you never need to recoat in the future ( requiring an even more difficult prep process).

racedeck1 you say that the cost of a professional installed epoxy floor would far exceed racedeck... I am not so sure i agree. What does racedeck cost per sq ft? i have ussually seen racedeck at high twos and low three's per sq ft. This is right in line with a professionally installed epoxy floor depending on options and sq footage...
