Saw these at walmart for like $30.. I forgot the weight rating and all, but it was a basic rolling tool cart, with a small cabinet with a shelf in it. Anyone think it's wortj getting?

I know its not the best in the world, but for keeping a few wrenches and stuff on it for rolling over to my truck would be pretty handy.. for the price it might be worth getting, so I'm considering it.

I recently picked up a rolling cart. I don't know how I lived without it. Roll it next to the car and throw tools on it instead of setting them around the engine and having them fall off.

Yes, rolling tool carts are nice. If I had the room for one Id have one myself. Id say stay away from the plastic ones though. Of course, the snap on ones are the best (but when left under a lift while being lowered, they WILL crush :see: ) Im not a big fan of the plastic ones, although they arnt all that bad. Rubbermaid (i think) makes one that has a tray that slides off to the side for extra storage, and I would NOT recommend these, because the tray bends and flexes with tools on it when you try to slide it off for acess. Standard two shelf metal ones are the best, second to only ones with a drawer under them. Astro Pneumatic makes ssome reasonably priced metal ones.

I recommend lining each shelf with some absorbant cloth, like a pig mat. This way you can trow a dirty oily part on there and not have to worry about the cart getting messed up. After about a month (sometimes more sometimess less) you can either flip it over or replace it. Keeps the kart looking nice, something we do.

They also have roll around "tables" that is just that, a small table that is sectioned off for putting tools and small nuts and bolts.
