Can anybody with black RaceDeck tiles comment on how difficult they are to keep clean.
Ordered black & alloy but thinking I may need to change to graphite and alloy as I've got a dirt/stone driveway and also do a bit of woodworking in the garage. Began to think the black may be a mistake as it may be a PITA to keep looking good....thoughts????

I can't even begin to think how much light you are losing with a black floor.

I have black squares in my Racedeck and if anything they are easier to clean, the show the dirt faster especially sawdust but easier to clean. And they don't show oil/grease as much as the whites.

Thanks for the feedback Mike. Yeah sounds like the sawdust will be a problem with those black tiles. I do wood working and play around with cars so it seems like the black tiles will show any bit of dirt, especially from the power saws.
Not sure what to do, may give RaceDeck a call and see whats involved in swapping out the black for graphite.

I've got a black and white racedeck checkerboard pattern in my garage. I would _not_ do that again. Not because of the black tiles - those are fine and take dirt really well. It's the white tiles. Miserable. My floor is about 6 years old and the black tiles look new. The white look like they need to be replaced with something much much darker. These tiles have been exposed to dirt/oil/grease/welding/woodwork/you-name-it.

Thanks for the response. I almost went with the black/white combo but decided the white would be a real PITA to keep looking good. Still may swap the black out for graphite as I'm thinking the black is so dark it will show everything and be PITA to keep looking clean.

My tiles are 10 years old and the whites tiles still look fine and they also have been abused by welding, painting, too many engine/gearbox rebuilds. The only place I would not do white again was under my lift, I went all white under the lift for light reflection but they quickly get black with grease, elsewhere in the garage my white tiles look fine as many pictures posted here already will prove.
