I bought some Black Rhino gearwrenches off ebay a while back.

The finish on them is good, they look well made.

So far they are holding up well.

I wouldn't go out of my way to buy more, but if I come across some at a good price in a size I needed, I wouldn't hesitate to buy them.

they look to be within a dollar or two of most big name brands. So..... why not just buy the name brand tools.

I agree. Those prices are higher than a giraffe's ***.

No name brand, hammers cost more than estwings.

ratchet wrenches cost more than gearwrenches.

Pliers cost as much as vise grip/knipex

hacksaws cost as much as bahco.

What's the point?

There isn't one. This is like the no name company posted in the driver thread making 12v tools that cost as much as bosch.

No name companies charging as much as the top companies making the tools...good luck.

Well, digging a bit deeper into the other company you mention, it seems that they produce tools for other companies. I'm guessing "kawasaki" and other import brands, but I'm open to other baseless theories.

As for black rhino, I was just curious. A similar curiousity about PB Tools led me to buy one of my now-favorite tools.
