If I had the financial means to buy all those machines (not for a company/work, but just to have) I'd rather just buy a forge and spend the rest of my life learning how to do it the old fashion way.

If you live where the 1% lives you can make a really nice living with those. The days of early retirees and non-wokers spiffing up their property, and selling for a profit every 5 - 7 years is over.
