I have two of these jacks and having trouble with one of them. (Blackhawk SJ2)
Recently had the jack mechanism apart to seal the tank as it was leaking at the base. Got this sealed OK now but on the first 6-8 stroked it raises normally then raises a little less with each stroke unless you wait a second or two between strokes. Just acts like it needs to time for the jack oil to reach the high pressure piston. It will eventually reach full height (without a load) but takes upward of 30 some strokes to get there!
It was not totally right before I tore it apart to fix the leak but since the leak is OK now the slow pumping/waiting makes it more noticeable to me and I would like to get this finally fixed.
What do you guys think.....it is filled with fluid to just cover the inner cylinder per the instructions on the jack body and I believe it is bled correctly. Defective part someplace?
Thanks in advance for any suggestions
