Blackhawk floor jack

I have this vintage jacket that I was trying to identify. It's similar to all the images I find with the rectangular lift pad and the light. Where it seems to differ is instead of the embossed lines on the side, it has "Blackhawk " embossed. Any ideas?

That's what I thought at first but all the pictures I find of the S4 have the lines on the side. I have not found a picture with Blackhawk embossed instead of the lines like mine.
The handles on mine are also tapered and not straight like others I see.

Might I suggest you move this post over to the Vintage Blackhawk thread.....you just might find or get more detailed information about your particular Blackhawk jack (which is a beaut by the way ).

I have not found a picture with Blackhawk embossed instead of the lines like mine.

Early advertisements and catalog listings for Blackhawk floor jacks show the "Blackhawk" name on the side of the unit.
A 1937 magazine advertisement shows the "embossed lines" on the side as you describe above.
I think we might be able to reasonably assume that the image used for the 1938 H. Channon Co. catalog was old artwork. (Occam's Razor stuff)
A 1939 advertisement shows the "embossed lines".
