If you just want to get it working and all the jack needs is a kit, you can fix it yourself for $100 or less as long as the ram and other major bottle parts are OK. If you need to take it to a jack company to re-build, it will run more.

As far as what the jack is worth, have you priced a long frame Chinese jack lately? You will have an American made, rebuildable, dependable jack if you get yours redone. I have a longframe Blackhawk like the one you are lookiing at and a short frame Walker. The other floor jacks in the garage are just used for those times when I need 3 or 4 jacks at one time (multiple cars).

If you are buying this one and the ram looks to be in good shape, a good price would be $40 to $80 depending on whether you need it or you want it......

That is Blackhawk first model S-4 the very first jack they produced. Yours has the earlier knob (raise & lower control) style on it so it is even older than the one I used to own. Nice jack and of very high quality. It will give you many years of service after it is repaired.

I paid 50 bucks for mine in none working condition. Thats what the seller was asking and i didnt even try to hagle with him, figured 50 bucks is probably pretty close to scrap value for something that heavy.

I still need to buy a rebuild kit for it. I love the jack. It moves around much easier than my chinese 3 ton. Will be a great jack once its rebuilt.

Personally i would give up to 75 for a jack like that that needs to be rebuilt. Think the rebuild kit is right around 90 shipped.
