Hello
1950s Porto Power.
Does anyone have a manual for this perhaps?
I am struggling here.
I tried to get it going and filled it with oil. I also bled the hose and rams.
2 Problems:
1) The pump does nothing much for building up pressure in the rams.
As soon as I remove the filler screw in the end, It hisses there and then works. But of course the oil leaks out and when I tighten the screw, it stops working.
There is also a 4" dipstick on that screw.
How is this supposed to be filled and operate? Should the screw be loose to allow air (and leak oil) in or is there another vent hole missing somewhere?
2) The big ram sits 1" out of the cylinder.
I can push it fully in with the pump connected but when I disconnect the pump/hose, the ram moved out to 1" and ***** air in, in the process. Is that normal or is there a problem in the ram?
Any help is greatly appreciated
Regards
