I have been looking on google for a while tonight and can't find much in the way of a repair or rebuild kit for a Blackhawk 34935a ratchet I have
(3/8 flex head). I am from the school of thought that if a tool works it is alright with me so I have no idea if this is the worst ratchet ever designed or if it is pretty decent but I will say it was my go to ratchet when it gave up the ghost 3-4 years ago. I just happened to see it at the back of a drawer this morning as I was roundig up Craftsman tools to return. I would like to have it back to work one of these years
. Is this something Stanley waranties - I have no idea what their policy is?
Anyone know where I can find a rebuild kit? I know they exist as I have seen a picture of the kit on here when searching. I just can't find one. All the exterior parts look fine, the selector on the back of the head is nearly impossible to turn and feels awfully crunchy. I am guessing the toothed ratchet part is stripped, though I have not taken it apart yet.
Thanks for any ideas.
