I recently acquired an S 4 jack that is missing the switch for the headlight. I have no idea what it looks like or how it mounts to the handle. Any help would be appreciated.

I am also an owner of an S-4 and have been in the process of restoring it. Mine has what I think is the complete switch assembly, but all of the wiring from the switch to the lamp and the lamp itself is missing.

Here is a picture of the switch assembly (at least what I have) all put together. It looks like it functioned as a simple momentary contact switch.

All of the same pieces layed out.

Lastly, here is a PDF of the exploded view of an S-4 that came with my jacks paperwork.

It is about a 10mb file. I have more documentation and can take more pictures if you need more info, but right now I am away from home for about a week.

The L/H side of the jack handle is threaded for mounting of the switch assy. The handle is also hollow and is used as the battery compartment.

The hydraulic unit cover incorporates a housing for the lamp and lens.

that is a cherry lens. Where do I get a lens like that? Also how much for a replacement wiring harness? IS there suppose to be a spring in the battery portion of the handle? or just a spring behind the button possibly?

thanks
