I picked up a Blackhawk s-4 jack and I’m not sure if I should reBuild it or part it out. I only payed 75 dollars Canadian for it. It’s pretty rough the casting around the wheels is broken of the top cover is missing and and broken and the jack leaks.

The pump reservoir looks very clean inside just not sure which direction to go where I live there is not much chance and of find a parts jack. What does everyone think?

You're going to be into a rebuild kit for around 200 bucks plus whatever it costs to get the missing parts. From there, you're going to have a large amount of sweat equity involved in restoring it. I guess the better question is if your 75 dollar jack is worth around 400 dollars invested plus the time to restore it. If the answer is yes, then it's time to spin up a restoration thread.

If you have the ability or the contacts to fab up or score replacement parts, I'd consider it. If you are without a machine shop, or friends who can do the work of fabrication, it's gonna be a rough slog, and I would part it out
