Blackhawk Toolbox

Found this Blackhawk toolbox at a Goodwill recently and while trying to find out more info about it I came across this site and figured this would be the best place to ask about it. Besides a rough time frame of it's age due to the New Britain being on the Blackhawk logo I don't know much about it.

Besides a rough time frame of it's age due to the New Britain being on the Blackhawk logo I don't know much about it.

There's a very specific date for the age of the box, visible in the bottom left of your "Pic 3".

"5 83" (May 1983).

The box was made for New Britain by Waterloo Industries, who also made similarly-styled boxes for Proto and other brands.
