Around ten this morning, guy came out and bought an old Waterloo roller I had on Craigslist. I had bought it as part of a deal with a ton of Craftsman tools four years ago. Didn't really want to let it go, but knew I didn't need it, so I thought I'd make some space in the garage. I go back inside, get on Craigslist to delete my ad, and run across this...

Three toolboxes for sale for $ ...well, I'll tell you that later. :D

First pic is the bottom of the roller. From what I could tell, it was made in 1968.

It's going to need some metalwork done to it, as you can see here

Nice little latch on the roller. All of them have this "locking system" in place...

Here's all three

Now for what was inside the boxes...this was all the tools that were worth anything...

And these are the best of those tools, lots of body hammers, a couple of vise grips, Cornwell speeder, etc.

And some of the other stuff...

The sockets as well...lots of Craftsman, a few Mac and a couple of Snap On

Here's the ID on the back of the middle box...roller and middle are both MBC...this one is 1970

The Waterloo box has seen it's share of abuse, check out this great welding job

Okay, the grand total for all this stuff was....drumroll please....$30! I'm going to fix the Waterloo box, do a quick repaint on it, and resell it. Keeping the middle and roller, will fix them and give them a decent repaint. Also got a bag of Taiwanese sockets that I'll probably package with some other foreign crapski and sell as a package deal.

that silver "universal wrench on the right is worth something? I recently got one and figured it was novelty junk

If it is made out of good steel I bet it would work well on tie rod adjustment sleeves.

This is going to be a time-consuming project, I'd imagine?

I'm wondering how much you're expecting to sell them for...enough to make it worthwhile for you.... I hope?

Dude, you ****,,,,,,,,,,,,,but in a good way!!!!!!!!!!!!

Nice score. The body hammers go for decent money at auctions up here. Usually $15 or so each. Vise grips usually sell well also. Those long welding ones bring $15 or so also.

I think you may have a tool problem. I'm not sure if its a good or bad problem as I have it also. I'll ask my psychiatrist and let you know what she says.
