When I was in my early 20s I passed on a job at a historical farm where I would have had the opportunity to work with a blacksmith among other tasks. At the time weekends off and $1 an hour was important but over the years I have at times regretted that decision.
Anyway I've been following The Essential Craftsman series of videos on Youtube and he has some videos on blacksmithing that kind of got those old regrets surfacing.
Not looking at going ******** into this, but thought perhaps just as there are "mini-lathes" for machining maybe there was a space limited option here as well.
I was hoping that maybe some here might be hobby blacksmiths and they could point me towards some resources to check out. I'm not seeing anything specific here on the site to cover this.
Yes, I could google, but that requires enough knowledge to sort good info from bad.
