Last year I swapped to this saw, it fits much better in my space limitations: https://www.kakaindustrial.com/coll...al-bs-85-metal-cutting-band-saw-mini-band-saw
Aside from being an import with a terrible name and sexist warning labels it works quite well for everything I have thrown at it. But the blade is getting worn. It uses a 1325mm blade (52 1/8") which is far more limited than the common 4x6 bandsaw blades.

Blade Serpent has been popping up a lot in my facebook feed. Looks decent, price is about $20 for a sized to fit and they have a wide variety of tooth pitches.

Anyone used them? I want to buy several blades, but I've had very mixed results with bandsaw blades in the past. Some cheapies that cut great and lasted forever, other midprice that cut like **** and then cracked at the weld very early on

I was helping my girlfriend with one of her arts and crafts projects cutting something on my band saw. I mentioned to her that I need to buy a new blade. Not a day later this blade serpent stuff started popping up on my facebook and instagram.
I haven't bought anything from them solely because I think targeted ads are creepy as hell.

I've had good luck with the Starrett blades that McMaster sells but I can't compare them to any other brand other than the piece of cheese that my saw came with.
