Looking at buying this: http://salessite.youngmonkey.ca/cgi/SalesSite.dll?Catalog?SKU=208324 It's the Blair spotweld cutter kit. It appears to use the 11000 series rotobroach bits. I have a cheapie version I've been using and the 2 sided bits don't last long.

This kit has the standard 11122 arbor instead of the 11123 skip proof arbor. Would it really make much difference? Probably be drilling 1/8" holes anyway.

Also, am I right to assume the 13000 series bits are a cheaper version than the 11000 series? and use the same arbor?

I don't have a Blair SpotWeld cutter but I have Blair holcutters for cutting holes in electrical boxes, they're tough and have lasted really well.

They work very well. But dont think that just a center punch mark will hold them on center. I drill a 1/8" hole in the center of the spot weld.
