I recently purchased a small benchtop blaster from Eastwood, Eastwood Benchtop Blast Cabinet Item #30721

Doing some research:
Tractor Supply Company TSC Sells Jobsmart Abrasive Blast Cabinet JSSBC90
Greg Smith Equipment Sells Table Top Sandblast Cabinet SBC90

Ironically the two above look and spec out IDENTICALLY, even same Sequential Part Number SBC90!! other then the STICKERS put on them. So sure they are made at the same China Factory. Close to the same price as well.

But looking closer at the three, they look like they ALL use the same gun and Nozzles ?!? Yes ALL Three cabinets are made in China. Wonder if Eastwood has them build a SPECIAL cabinet just for them, but use all the other same components ? Gun, Hoses, Nozzles, Light, Filter, etc... The Eastwood has a different Hopper, Screen, lift top.

Once i get in My Eastwood I will know for sure, but this could be good because I should be able to get spare parts for the gun from TSC instead of ordering. Will check Light, Gloves, etc as well.

Could have got the same thing at Harbor Freight. I had one, too small for most anything. Sold it at the swap meet for $40. The light in all those cabinets is trash, so expect to buy some kind of bright LED bar or some such to replace it.

I bought the big one and it's decent. Hose to the gun needs replacing and needs a light, but it's got room to work.

Actually, looks like HF dropped that particular blast cab.

I have the same generic tool store cabinet as well, I expect that it's made in China. It's a metal box, china quality is fine for a metal box.

If you do go with a China made unit, Go to the TP Tools site and get their replacement gun and siphon tube. I think it's about 70 bucks, but well worth the money. The difference is night and day.

Good info. I have a big stand up unit I bought cheap - $60 from Craigslist years ago and have never put it into use. The gloves are shot, etc. I've always heard the seams leak badly and the gun & tube don't work good on the HF ones so this info is helpful. What do most guys seal the seams with? RTV? Some kind of automotive seam sealer?

I used Lexel sealant on my Job Smart- hands down, the best sticking and longest lasting sealant/caulking I've ever used on anything in my 50 years (you can get it in a squeeze tube or standard caulking tube @ Ace Hardware or True Value).

I bought the small bench top to do small items at home when if needed. Since i have access to 2 large Pressure Blast Cabinets at work for larger items. One is glass bead, the other is Plastic & Oxide.
