Blast Cabinet...cont?

Bought this today at the local Tool Box (Import tool place) Seems like a pretty good cabinet.

Anyone have any experience with one before I put it together? They've been out of stock for months so I grabbed one as soon as they came in. They seem to sell them out quickly.
Magnum 40 lb capacity floor blast cabinet. Side door, 33 1/2 x 22 x 18.

Looks just like my Harbor Freight cabinet.

I suggest using a silicone caulk on every seam and rivet while you're assembling it. Do the caulking from the inside, and work the caulk into the rivets and seams with your finger. This will prevent dust leaks everywhere. Even the seams with foam gaskets will benefit from caulking.

Get a good shop vac with plenty of spare filters or a dedicated dust collection system. Don't even think about operating it without one. Between the compressor and shop vac you will want a good supply of foam ear plugs.

My HF cabinet came with a really cheap, crappy blast gun. I tossed the gun without even trying it, and I bought a quality, USA-made replacement from TPtools.com. Ordered some extra nozzles and parts while I was at it.

I posted pics of mine last year. Add a Tip Seperator, used a delta dust collector form lowes and a TIP Gun and you are all set

Next mod: Better Gloves. I hate the Glove attachment design, but I Should since I design gloveboxes for a living
