Blast cabinet problem.

I just bought a blast cabinet from Harbor Freight. It is a standalone unit with the entry from the side. It leaks a little but overall it has worked pretty good. Until now, Pressure is the same as it has always been, about 90 psi. But it just doesn’t spray grit. Air still comes out at a good clip but no media is coming out. I have looked through the pickup tube and it is free of clogs. Any ideas?

WAG here, but, ceramic nozzle wore out already, reducing the "venturi" needed to pick up the grit??

Nozzle prob got clogged if you are not using an air dryer. Unscrew it from the gun and clean. It is possible the pick up tube could clog as well. Use a wire coat hanger for that. For the money it's a great cabinet. I have a shop vac and air dryer which makes it perfect. Never had any leaks either.....or should I say yet!

First I replaced the suction hose with a stiffer one. Then I added a dryer/separator. Then I switched out the gun. All of these changes helped and I am back in operation better than ever.

I am still getting clogs. If I am using it during the day I can take the grit and pour it out in the sun to let it dry out. That seems to help. I think I need a larger dryer.
