Blast cabinet sealant contaminants

I am interested in suggestions for what to use to seal the seams on a new blast cabinet. I have found it stated that using silicone can eventually cause microscopic contamination of the media which can cause items you plan on painting to have fish-eyes. Is there an easily attainable alternative without this issue that has the same sealing and flexibility qualities of silicon, with a reasonable curing time, which also comes in a clear form? I had read that Lexel is good but takes a very long time to cure. Thanks.
