I recently bought a HF blast cabinet and it came with one film applied and 2 extras but they do not sell replacements. What are you guys using to protect the windows of your blast cabinets? I did see tptools sells replacement films for like $8 for 3, I know there has to be some great almost no cost solution someone has come up with.

The stuff that TP Tools has is just adhered around the perimeter with double backed tape. If you do manage to source the plastic film, you can just hit Staples or Depot or Lowes and get some tape. I have a TP cabinet and so far have ordered the replacements from them but they are a bit spendy over time.

We have the same blast cabinet and just use it until the glass is too sandblasted to see through. After that we replace the glass. The glass from a local store is fairly cheap.

I just found out that Harbor Freight has the window liners for $1 each. It seemed expensive until I checked out Eastwood. I have the smaller HF cab that has a 22.5 x 10.5 window Model 42202-7VGA.

In the manual, available on-line, the page is 6 and the part number is 22.

To order you have to call the HF parts line - 800 444 3353. The part number to order is 26790.

Also I read somewhere about sticking the plastic liner to the inside of the cab with magnets.

Dang that is not bad at all, I guess I should have looked at that book before filing it away. Thanks for the info, and that is the saem cabinet I have. I should get around to posting the mods I did to it to gain 8 inchs of verticle space inside.
