So I have been wanting a new storage area that keeps stuff now always need out of the shop and out of the weather. Such as garden tractors, bobcat, wheel barrels, air compressor, extra engines etc. The idea popped into my head to buy a shipping container since the air large and secure and cheap in the general idea. I could paint it to match my current shops tin brown sides or actually tin thw sides with thw same material nut was curious ifanyone has any better ideas to not make it look so redneck.

I had thought about taking 2 of the 40 footers and setting them up with really wide trusses spanning them, using the tops of the containers to hold the trusses. Put up a wall at one end and a big roll up door at the other. Almost instant shop.

You could paint it to match the shop or side it,then put a roof top garden/deck on top of it with some stairs, outdoor furniture, firepit etc...,might as well accentuate the redneck look or bury it, might make getting **** in and out a little tough,or do like me and pour a pad next to the shop and park a enclosed trailer there.Goodluck MM

It's hard to beat the space and strong construction for 2500. I like the idea of using the top for something. Possible firewood storage area. Maybe turn the top into a man cave outdoor area

Actually if I can get 9 ft tall ones, my roof of my pole barn at the sides is 11 foot or so and I could roof them with a nice angle to blend the paint to match on both sides making my total shop 20 foot wider for around 6k
