Block wall covering

Hi all,

I'm in the process of prettying up my garage. I have a half of the garage wall along three sides are made of blocks. It's a pretty small garage and I want to protect my car doors from damage and was wondering what others have done (aside from hanging drywall).

Use a block filler then a top coat like this:

you want to protect the doors from damage when opening ... I would screw on some rubber or foam pool noodles or something at the impact point as a cushion

Hang carpets on the walls and call them tapestries.

Look at boat dock “D” profile bumpers. Open your car door and see where it hits. Add the bumper at that height. They are available in a few colors.

I think this is might be a winner.

Maybe I'll get some carpet tiles and glue them on. Or the rubber coin flooring. Thanks!
