Blocking Sun on metal carport ideas

I've had two metal carports for about a year. They had metal siding on 3 sides and I use them to park 4 cars. The opening is facing east and I'd like to find a way to block the sun while still having reasonable access for moving the cars in and out. Has anyone ever tried something like fabricating a roll up door made of any type of foldable material, or installed some type of sliding door?

Bamboo Blinds are relatively cheap and durable.

I’ve thought about just folding a tarp up when I need it.
My carport has no walls and the back is East and the front by my gate is west.

Hang a silver tarp split in the middle, let the halves overlap a few inches. Simple buckle straps up top, piece of PVC gorilla taped at the bottom. Grab the pipe, roll it up, snap the buckle.

I am considering building two sliding, barn style doors that would slide behind each other, such that only one side would able to be open at a time. Has anyone seen this done with a carport?

What about a roll up solar screen like they use on porches. I've also seen them used on the fronts of garages.

Thank you for the suggestions and replies. I had considered a roll up design, but I don't think that it would withstand some of the weather we get. This week we happened to have tornado like winds and flooding, so I believe the barn door style will work better

If you have enough front overhang on the roof, why not tuck the rolls back up underneath the overhang, perhaps even back of the vertical support posts?

And you can specify fabric types that are UV resistant but still breathe.

I was planning on framing out the sliding doors with 2x2 tubing, but i've called every metal supplier in the area and no one sells galvanized tubing. After thinking about it, I think framing it out with wood would perhaps be a better option anyway. I think I'll start a new thread, since technically it's a different topic, about how to properly frame it out.
