I did a search and found only a few threads on this product (nothing that spoke about long-term durability). Anybody that's had BlockTile for a while, I was wondering:

How does perforated BlockTile hold up to parking a car on it? Although their website shows a car parked on the perforated tiles, it's described as a "patio/porch tile".

Although I like Race Deck Free-Flow and have used it in the past, the BlockTile is much cheaper (~1.85/ft delivered).

If price is your primary factor in deciding on a flooring for your home garage, you can check http://www.bigfloors.com all USA made and many styles on sale

Adding this info in case somebody's considering BlockTile.

Had the first semi-warm day in quite a while here in Ohio (~45 degrees). The BlockTile certainly expands/contracts - a "pressure ridge" appeared after exposure to the setting sun for about an hour. The "ridge" formed at the seam between the central tiles and was elevated about an inch. Closing the garage door/stopping sun exposure dropped the "ridge" back to normal within about a minute.

Not sure if the tiles would have simply expanded/moved as one if there were no cars on them.

Just passing this along...

Another update since I recently got a Private Message asking about these tiles:

The tiles are still holding up just fine. Like the Race Deck tiles (which I have also owned) or any other floor surface, tires will leave slightly discolored "tracks" on the tiles. Scrubbing with a little Simple Green and the tracks are easily removed. No cracking or discoloration so far. I have not subjected the Block Tiles to any "heavy" use like welding splatter/etc - just a normal two-car garage.

Again, just passing this along in case anyone was curious.

OK, answered the first one. They seem to be made by Modutile USA at least they are now. How do they hold up? you mentioned a little sun issue, anything else?

Just reviewing old posts and thought I would give a long-term update:

As of this date, the tiles are still holding up well with no new issues. I recently scrubbed the tiles after several months of snow/salt/dirt/cinders and they look good as new. Several tiles have been scraped by jacks/etc, but nothing too dramatic. Overall, I think they're a very nice tile option.

Hope this helps anyone considering the various tiles...
