Blow dryer for my Harley

Looking for a good blow dryer for my Harley at the right sort of money.Any of you guys any ideas.Most of the ones i see are arm and a leg job!!! and the wife can"t blow fast enough!!!

I never washed mine, so I don't pay attention to what's out there. But if I got the urge, I'd probably start with my shop vac or leaf blower.

I own a number of bikes, and when I wash mine, I use.....My electric leaf blower. Works just as good as any bike-specific dryer.

Leaf blower here as well..........somebody saw me doin it one time and was concerned with unfilter'd air....I was,WTF....its a bike,I ride it.BW

Leaf blower here. Even a local friend who does professional auto detailing uses a leaf blower, both on his own as well as client cars.

If you live next to a concrete factory or gravel pit, I'd say look into a filtered device, but if you live next to either of the above, my guess is that you have bigger problems. LOL.

Just don't use the leaf blower as a leaf vacuum too. That fills up the machine with **** that gets thrown back out when it's blowing.

elec. leaf blower here... bought it for the bike, only for the bike! Cheap and easy!

Leaf blower ?.... Hair dryer ?.....WTF? Ya wipe it down, apply some spray on synthetic wax, get on, go for a ride. Been riding since the late 70's and Ive NEVER seen somebody blow dry their scooter (of course now i gotta try it)

Some bikes get washed some don't here......one of mine is goin on 100k on the clock.It proudly wears spots of Ozark mnt mud from a cpl years ago.It only gets washed after riding in Winter snow/salt....will never let that sit on any vehicle.

Other bikes get spitshined....well just because....they look like chit,dirty.

Leaf blower is more about getting moisture out of the cracks N such.BW

Hmmm. I thought you were looking for a turbo kit.

That was my initial thought also until I read the replies and figured out it was actually for drying the bike.

I say forget the dryer and put a real turbo on, then you won't have to worry about water spots. Everyone will be distracted by the turbo

Thanks for your suggestions--as to its use for my hair-wish i had enough to dry!!!!!!!!
I had a leaf blower-it blew up!!! i presume those of you suggesting a leaf blower are talking about a small hand held one-not the bigger version!! anyway untill i can find a regular local bikini wash service guess i"ll just continue to do it myself-sad isn"t it!!!!

I'm on board with the leaf blower also. I use to use a gas powered one but every once in a while it would spit out some oily mess. I bought a blacker and decker full sized leaf blower off season for like $20. I only use it for drying off bikes and blowing off the garage floor so it stays clean. Works great and it was only $20.
