Hi, here is my situation. I want to add some blow in insulation to my attic. and while in process, insulate space above garage. Currently it is storage space in attic.
I lifted couple of plywood sheets to open access and considering to sneak in blowing hose and gradually remove it in attempt to fill the space under the deck with insulation. In you experience what is my chances for susses? I'm afraid that hose will clogged up right away. and I'll spend more time unclogging it. One of the channels measured 24'x10"x8'
Thank you

That stuff comes out of there in a hurry but I dont think it will be an issue. Whom ever is feeding the machine, maybe have them feed it slowly and not just fill up the hopper. Give you time to get a feel for it.

It depends on the blower.

The cheap blowers that look like a 55 gallon trash can I would not have high hopes for. They clog easily.

If its a better blower that you can control both the material feed rate and air flow then it should work ok. Its basically what we do when we dense pack a wall however you will get some blow back out of the cavity as your not using netting like they do in dense pack.

The only place I can locally get the good blower is menards. A krendl 425.. Home cheepo and Lowes lend out the above style blower.
I have never had one of these clog either blowing an attic or dense packing walls.
