Does anyone else grind down the little tabs on their cases? I understand that for retail and shipping purposes they are vital, but once they come home with me, these little tabs get dremeled off.

Anyone else with me on this? I like the tray to HOLD the tool, not imprison it. If it takes two hands to pull a wrench out of the tray, something isn't right.

I use the Dremel and remove everything from the inside of the case. Then I can put anything I want in it.

If you frequently insert and remove the item into the case those nubs will wear quickly and let easy access anyway. I don't keep many blow mold cases (take up too much room) but just about any I have wear fast.
