Many times in my garage I am grinding on something or painting something like restoring a vise or engine. The problem is that I get grit or paint all over the place and it usually takes me all day to get my garage clean again. I do not have space for a dedicated booth. Once I got some fine laquer spray all over the wife's car and I was in the doghouse,...again, till I cleaned her car up xtal clean. Not a pleasant thing.

So, I had this salvaged blower from an old heating/air unit that I used to use to keep my garage comfortable during the summer. Now my garage is air conditioned so I did not really need it anymore.

So I came up with this idea to put the blower in a box with filters. It serves as a filter to clean the air as well as filter out paint and grit when I am tinkering. And surprisingly it works incredibly well and my garage stays much cleaner. I put it on casters and it also serves as a small table.
